Thrive’s First Working Interview & Meet and Greet

 

I’m thrilled to announce that we will be holding our very first Working Interview and Meet and Greet event! As we continue to grow, these events will likely become a regular occurrence, happening quarterly or as needed. This is a pivotal moment for us, and I’m excited to share it with each of you.

 

Event Details:

Date & Time: September 19th, please arrive between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM
Location: 308 N. Fairground St, Marietta GA 30060

We’ve rented a cozy Airbnb for this event, providing a comfortable and relaxed setting for us to connect and collaborate. 

 

What to Expect:

This event is mandatory for all therapists, as it’s a key opportunity to introduce yourself to the rest of the team and showcase your skills. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to set up your workstation and get acquainted with your fellow team members.

 

Please come prepared to work:

  • Attire: Wear your scrubs, as you’ll be conducting massage sessions.
  • Equipment: Bring your massage table, sheets, bolsters, and any other tools you need.
  • MassageBook: Ensure your profile is up and ready to use.

 

During the event, we’ll have senior volunteers joining us to receive massages and provide valuable feedback. You’ll begin with a consultation, entering their information into MassageBook just as you would when working with Thrive. After the consultation, you’ll conduct your massage session—there’s a chance we may switch clients after 30 minutes to gather more comprehensive feedback.

After the massages, we’ll regroup as the seniors get dressed. This will be our opportunity to discuss the day’s activities, finalize any remaining paperwork, and make sure everything is in order for our October launch. We’ll also have a package for you, including some promotional items and a few essentials to make your job a bit easier.

 

Wrap-Up and Social Time:

Once the official part of the event is concluded, I invite you to stick around for some food and a chance to unwind. This will be a great time to chat, get to know one another better, and share ideas.

I’m envisioning some fun, informal four-handed massage sessions, making this not just a professional gathering but a truly enjoyable experience for all.
